Our Global SAP Center of Excellence (COE) team is seeking a collaborator to lead data utilization across the company and support strategic decision-making.
This position will demonstrate expertise in data management and analysis using SAP BW/BI, providing accurate and timely insights that will directly contribute to business growth. Additionally, as a business partner in the finance, legal, and HR domains, you will drive operational efficiency and advanced reporting while aligning business processes and requirements. This is a challenging position that creates value in both data strategy and business collaboration, leading transformation on a global scale. Job Description: As a SAP BW/BI Solutions Architect, you will provide strategic direction and validate technical solutions aligned with the company’s data strategy and governance standards. • Leverage SAP BW/BI to define and lead the enterprise-wide data architecture, ensuring a robust design that enables data integration and sharing across global business functions. • Collaborate with business stakeholders and IT teams to translate business requirements into scalable data solutions that enable strategic insights and decision-making. • Serve as a key business partner to Finance, Legal and HR, aligning processes, requirements and solutions to support operational efficiency and reporting needs. • Partner with the Global ERP COE and regional IT teams to ensure the architecture and integration strategy supports corporate goals and mid-term plans. • Select and lead development and support partners to deliver high-quality solutions and services that align with business and IT goals. Qualifications• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Finance, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in an IT role supporting finance or ERP systems at a global company
• SAP Expertise: Practical experience in designing, implementing, and supporting operations for SAP FICO and SAP BW
• Understanding of Finance and Data Management: In-depth knowledge of financial processes and data management principles
• Business-level communication skills in Japanese and English
• Ability to understand business strategy and translate it into IT solutions that create measurable business value
• Experience managing complex IT projects, including stakeholder engagement and cross-functional collaboration
